GRVAS, through the dedication of its Senior Transport Drivers, provides non-emergency transportation to medical and hospital appointments.

GRVAS Car Transport
A non-emergency service for ambulatory Glen Ridge seniors (65+) for medical and hospital appointments only.
+ Transportation is via a car furnished by the town.
+ Available Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or by special arrangement
+ Trips must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance
+ We will transport to immediately surrounding towns
+ Transportation for regular medical appointments such as dialysis can be accommodated depending on driver availability
+ NO medical personnel will be on board
+ NO assistance will be provided
GRVAS Ambulance Transport
A non-emergency service for Glen Ridge residents who are non- or semi-ambulatory, for medical and hopital appointments only.
+ Transportation is via GRVAS ambulance
+ Available seven days a week, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or by special arrangement
+ Trips must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance
+ Call for information of range of distance we service
+ Transportation for regular medical appointments such as dialysis are only available on a short term basis, dependent on squad availability
+ A NJ State-certified EMT will be on board, vital signs will be taken, and a crew will be available to lift and move the patient
