About the Glen Ridge Volunteer Ambulance Squad

The Glen Ridge Volunteer Ambulance Squad is a volunteer EMS agency established in 1950, serving the residents of Glen Ridge, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Glen Ridge Volunteer Ambulance Squad is dispatched when a 9 -1 -1 call is received. There is never a charge for our services.

Non-emergency medical transportation is available, also without charge, with at least 48 hours advance notice. Some restrictions apply.  Please see the Medical Transports page or call 862-621-9245 for details.

Our members come from Glen Ridge and surrounding towns, and from various walks of life.

Funding for the Glen Ridge Volunteer Ambulance Squad is provided solely by donations from Glen Ridge residents and charitable organizations.  The GRVAS is a registered 501(c)3 charity.
